Who am I?

I am a freelance professional indexer.  I successfully completed the Indexing: Theory And Application course at the University of California Berkeley Extension with an "A".

I hold a BS degree in Computer Science.  I finished college cum laude (with honors).  I have been a professional software engineer since 1993.  And as such, I am well-versed in several programming languages (C/C++, C#, Java, Pascal, Perl, PHP, etc.) and a variety of software and Internet technologies.

I was once a variable life insurance agent, California notary public, and double-certified loan signing agent.

Most importantly, I am an avid reader.  I devour books.  My day is not complete when I'm deprived the chance to read even just a single page of a book.  I understand and know how to fulfill your readers' needs.

Due to my background, I prefer indexing technical, business/financial, and math/science books.  However, an indexer's brain is able to adapt to different topics.  In fact, I have indexed other types of material such as autobiography, religion, and geography.  If, after perusing the sample pages, I determine that there's no way I can possibly index your book, rest assured that I'd let you know so.  Otherwise, I'd only end up torturing myself.
